Why Neeraj Chopra is in news?

He was born on 24 December 1997 in Panipat, Haryana in n Khandra village . Now he is 23 years old and he has won a gold in Olympics. His Height is 178 cm or 6 ft. and his weight is 86 kg. He falls under the category of track and field and is ranked at 4.

Currently he won one of the top Gold Medal in Tokyo Olympics in Japan.

After Training under his first coach Jaiveer for a year, Chopra was admitted to the Tau Devi Lal Sport Complex in Panchkula, four hours from him home, which was the one of only two facilities in the state of Haryana with a synthetic runway. At Punchkula, he began training under coach Naseem Ahmad, who made him train in long-distance running along with the javelin throw.
